Frankincense for Cold and Flu Congestion
- 8 drops Frankincense (Boswellia carterii)
- 3 drops Eastern Red Cedar (Juniperus virginiana)
- 4 drops Elemi (Canarium luzonicum, Optional)
Andrea suggests adding the oils to a blank inhaler, found at natural grocery stores. Another option is to add the same ration to small bowl of steaming water, and inhale the steam gently. If you are seriously congested, put a towel over your head to hold the steam in. Note: please use the back of your wrist to check the steam's temperature beforehand!
