Suzi Kelley is the founder and product formulator for Suzi’s Lavender, a small batch botanical-based skin care company. Suzi was formally a science teacher/researcher and developer of scientific materials for teachers and students.  Suzi holds a Master of Science degree and is a Master Gardener.

Suzi grew up wild harvesting plants with her mother and making the family “cure all” salve.  She owes this experience to her love for plants and for their healing properties.  Suzi resides in Oregon with her husband Todd and dogs Boone and Molly.  She spends her spare time gardening, hiking, practicing yoga & meditation, reading and watching the natural cycle of the seasons.

 

 

 

 

 

Todd Kelley, COO

Todd has the title of COO, making sure everything runs smoothly at Suzi’s.  He's a big advocate for a healthy lifestyle and doesn't go anywhere without a Muscle and Joint salve stick and Lavender Lemon Lip therapy. He's the "suit," really likes numbers and tells everyone they keep the company on track. Prior to Suzi’s, he cut his teeth at IBM, served as President for two successful companies and spent 15 years in financial services. 

A lifelong Husker fan, he can’t wait for the college football season to begin. He really enjoys being outside on his road bike and walking with Suzi and Molly, their miniature dachshund. In his spare time, he likes to hike/camp, read, listen to 80’s music and his favorite band, the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

 

 

 

 

Amanda Machado, Queen Distribution Officer

Amanda acts as our queen distribution officer, making sure all our packages are delivered promptly and correctly. Amanda has been with Suzi’s Lavender for two years working in product production and over the past year has overseen import and export of products. 

A recent graduate from Pacific University with a Psychology degree, and four year collegiate softball student-athlete, she is excited about what new adventures her future holds! She loves staying active outdoors or in the gym and enjoys the delicious food she rewards herself with even more. Some of Amanda’s favorite things include spending time with friends, chocolate, 70’s and 80’s music, the San Francisco Giants, reading, and more chocolate!!

 

 

 

Hudson Gardner, Photographer & Writer

Favorite Product: Lavender Healing Salve

Hudson Gardner, Suzi's son, started working for Suzi's when he helped redesign the website six years ago. Since then he has played many roles, but now mostly takes care of customers on social media, replying to your messages and making sure your questions get to the right ears. He is a writer and photographer, currently finishing his first full-length manuscript. He spends most of his time outdoors renewing my connection with nature through wildcrafting, hiking, bike touring, and backpacking in and near Santa Fe, New Mexico. His favorite drink is a good Japanese sencha, with a cookie or two alongside

 

 

 

  

 

Molly Kelley

Molly is the feisty mini dachshund that keeps us on our toes. She always lets us know when the mailman comes to the door! She has quite the enthusiasm for walks, greeting new people, and keeping the backyard completely squirrel free.
